DJ Algoriddim

DJ Algoriddim is a reggae disc jockey as well as the builder and co-operator of the Riddim Macka sound system.

His YouTube channel features riddim mixes and has had more than 1.5 million views.

He hosted the Algoriddim Sounds radio program for 20 years in Chicago on WHPK 88.5 FM. Each show focused on a certain artist, producer or style with an emphasis on tracing the musical origins of reggae tracks and mixing together all the various versions on that same riddim.

He has DJed in numerous spots around Chicago, including the Double Door, Congress Hotel, Funky Buddha Lounge, Blue Note, Crocodile and Darkroom; as well as in South Africa. He is now based in North Carolina
